Rana is a Political Science student at FISIP UI and a Research Assistant for the Digital Authoritarianism (DiAL): Mapping and Strengthening Civil Society Responses in Asia (2025-2027) by GIGA Germany. She focuses on coding digital lawfare cases and doing expert interviews with civil societies representatives in Indonesia who were victimized through digital authoritarianism by the government. She also has experiences in analyzing and processing data through her involvement in Research and Development Bureau at BEM FISIP UI; where she conducted many market and evaluation surveys for BEM FISIP UI. She also has an experience in a national survey held by Algoritma Research and Consulting as an Enumerator for collecting data which shaped not only her interviewing skills, but also her communication skills.
