Thessa is a Political Science Student at FISIP UI and a Temporary Research Assistant for the Digital Authoritarianism (DiAL): Mapping and Strengthening Civil Society Responses in Asia (2025-2027) by GIGA, Hamburg. Her involvement in the project focuses on supporting qualitative interviews, including assisting with interview sessions and providing translation when needed. Her research interests include contemporary socio-political issues, comparative politics, public policy, and the growing intersection between technology and politics. In addition, she is the Vice Head of the Social and Political Studies Department at HMIP FISIP UI, where she contributes to issue-based socio-political studies and the development of analyses using relevant political concepts and theories.
