Roadmap

CHIEF is committed to a structured path of research excellence. From 2025 to 2030, we progress through three key phases — building our infrastructure and partnerships, conducting rigorous health economics research, and translating evidence into national health policy. Our roadmap reflects our dedication to producing research that is not only academically sound, but genuinely impactful for Indonesia’s health system.

Phase 1

Foundation & Infrastructure

  1. Development and launch of the CHIEF research cluster website as a platform for visibility and knowledge dissemination.
  2. Establishment of active research collaborations with BPJS Kesehatan, Ministry of Health, WHO, World Bank, ThinkWell, and CHAI.
  3. Initiation of core research projects including JKN capitation adequacy, National Health Accounts, Disease Accounts, and immunization financing.
  4. Production of policy briefs, technical reports, and executive summaries for institutional partners.
  5. Publication of at least 1 international and 2 national peer-reviewed journal articles.
  6. Development of public infographics for broader research dissemination.
