The Cell and Genetic Biology Research Group is a research group with a primary focus on cellular and molecular sciences, gene regulation (genomics), and epigenomics, particularly in relation to major health challenges in Indonesia. This research group also emphasizes the development of research grounded in strong fundamental biomedical sciences by integrating cellular biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, and bioinformatics to advance research at higher levels, including the development of disease diagnostics and biomarkers, as well as molecular therapies based on recombinant proteins, RNA, and DNA (gene therapy). The activities of this research group are also aligned with the advancement of Precision Medicine.
