Professor Yandi Andri Yatmo is a professor of architecture at Universitas Indonesia and leads the architectural design research cluster. His current works are primarily on design theories and methods and their relevance to design practice. He is the current chair of the Indonesian Architecture Accrediting Board (IAAB), former chair of the Association of Architecture Higher Education in Indonesia (APTARI), former chair of the Architectural Education Board for the Indonesian Architects’ Institute (IAI), and former Head of the Architecture Department (2013-2017). He was awarded the FuturArc Green Leadership Award 2019, the Holcim Award Asia Pacific 2011, and numerous design competition prizes at national and international levels. He is the co-editor of the Interiority journal.
