My study investigates the negotiation between architecture and nature as the primary theoretical framework for architectural design. By analysing the operational mechanisms of natural systems, I formulated tropical spatial and material strategies. Utilising ecological parameters to shape, test, and contextual architectural technologies, I argue that integrating natural systems into architectural technology shifts design from aesthetics to functional in the tropics.
