The Department of Architecture at FTUI, in collaboration with our international partner, Universiti Malaya (UM) in Malaysia, has initiated a strategic research partnership to develop the Inclusive Campus Environment (ICE) Framework. This framework aims to enhance inclusivity for students with disabilities across higher education institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Key activities included a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and a joint Access Audit conducted on May 12-13, 2026, during which the physical accessibility of UI’s campus facilities was evaluated according to international standards.
This collaborative effort reaffirms our commitment to the principles of “No One Will Be Left Behind” and “Nothing About Us Without Us.”
On Saturday, 23 May 2026, students from the Introduction to Urban Context and Urban Interior course visited Karsa CityLab to learn more about initiatives to create a more just cities through the work of Karsa CityLab and Urundaya Kota. In addition to presentations and sharing sessions from the Karsa CityLab team, representatives from each class also presented what they had learned in their respective courses on how to create better urban spaces.
The session concluded with a reminder from Prof. Bambang Susantono on the importance of continuously working toward cities that are just, sustainable, and resilient.

Kali ini pada WCU Equity Visiting Professor Series Vol. 3, DA FTUI menghadirkan seminar dan lecture series bersama Prof. He Yong dari Zhejiang University dengan Prof. Ir. Evawani Ellisa, M.Eng., Ph.D. dan Amira Paramitha, S.Ars., M.Ars. bertindak sebagai penanggung jawab kegiatan. Acara ini berlangsung pada 18–22 Mei 2026 di lingkungan DA FTUI.
