As Indonesian cities continue to evolve under the influence of demographic shifts, economic development, environmental challenges, technological change, and social transformation, planning and design practices must be capable of addressing uncertainty, complexity, and constant adaptation. Urban Lab examines how urban form, architecture, and everyday life are shaped by the interplay between formal and informal processes, market forces, entrepreneurial initiatives, governance structures, and community practices.
