Hamdi Muluk is a Professor of Political Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia. He was appointed Professor in 2010 and delivered his inaugural professorial lecture entitled Reviving the Public: A Political Psychology Perspective. His research focuses on political psychology, social psychology, peace psychology, and the psychology of terrorism. He is also the founder of the Political Psychology Laboratory (Labpsipol) at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia. Since December 16, 2024, he has served as Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at Universitas Indonesia.
