Community Dentistry

Research Group on Dental Health Administration, Oral Health Behavior, and Preventive Dentistry represent a triad of interrelated domains that underpin the advancement of oral health at both individual and population levels. The convergence of administrative innovation, behavioral science, and preventive clinical practice is increasingly recognized as essential for addressing the persistent burden of dental diseases, improving access and equity, and optimizing resource allocation in health systems. The approach is converging toward a holistic, integrated, and preventive model of oral health care. Interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based behavioral interventions are driving improvements in access, equity, and outcomes. However, persistent gaps in long-term effectiveness, organizational adoption, and research on emerging strategies highlight the need for continued investigation and policy reform. The future of dental health lies in responsive, individualized, and prevention-focused systems supported by robust data, education, and leadership
