BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Dr. apt. Abdul Mun’im, is currently a lecturer at Cluster of Herbal Drug Discovery and Development, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Indonesia. He completed his doctoral education at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, with thesis: Study of antioxidants from the Crotalaria sessiliflora. His research includes the discovery of active compounds and the development of drugs from Indonesian medicinal plants. Currently, he is conducting research related to the extraction methods using green solvents and the development of its products. He is also conducting exploration of some Indonesian propolis for immunomodulators and the development of traditional medicinal plants as gastroprotective, cardioprotective and antihypertension.
