Established as a premier research division within Universitas Indonesia, the Drug Delivery Systems Cluster serves as an intellectual hub for pharmaceutical technology and advanced pharmaceutical engineering. The cluster was established to address the escalating complexity of modern molecular therapeutics, such as nanoparticles drug delivery, and poorly soluble small molecules – which require sophisticated delivery mechanisms to achieve therapeutic efficacy.
Our researchers operate within standardised laboratory spaces equipped for pharmaceutical formulation, physical characterization, and in vitro/in vivo biological evaluation within laboratories in Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Indonesia. By maintaining a culture of academic rigor and intellectual curiosity, the cluster stands at the forefront of macro- and micro-scale delivery technologies, consistently contributing to the evolution of contemporary medicine.
