CIFBR is an interdisciplinary research group that advances computational intelligence for finance, business, and
risk. Anchored in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Indonesia, the group connects finance,
banking, accounting, marketing, actuarial science, Islamic finance, governance, and industry practice. Its distinctive role is to translate rigorous research into explainable models, decision tools, policy insight, and
executive learning that address the realities of emerging and dual financial systems.
Privacy, fairness, security, explainability, and human oversight are embedded from research design through deployment.
Every major program combines computational methods with finance, business, risk, and institutional expertise.
Research questions are co-developed with public, private, academic, and community partners.
Success is measured through scientific quality and demonstrable improvements in decisions, capability, resilience, or inclusion.
