About CSDA

Center for Spatial Data and Analysis (CSDA) supports research activities through multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches. It facilitates the development and management of spatial databases and research initiatives at the School, University, national, and international levels, fostering collaboration across institutions and sectors.

CSDA provides services in a wide range of spatial studies, including Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Big Data analytics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and ENVI-met simulation. As these areas represent significant technological innovation, CSDA primarily emphasizes quantitative research methodologies. Its core function is to conduct integrated research by leveraging spatial data and processing real-time geospatial information to analyze environmental change, human mobility, and dynamic spatial interactions.

While grounded in advanced spatial technologies, CSDA supports research across both the Sciences and Social Sciences that incorporate spatial variables, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of GSSD. Through innovative technological solutions—including big data analysis, high-precision real-time data series, integrated variable modeling, simulation techniques, and spatiotemporal modeling—CSDA aims to enhance research effectiveness, creativity, and comprehensive outcomes.
