STELLAR (Stem cEll rEsoURces for Advanced-biomedicine Research) focuses on advancing stem cell science through an integrated, multidisciplinary research framework that spans basic discovery, translational research, and advanced biomedical engineering.
STELLAR’s research activities are organized into four interconnected research pillars: iPSCs Clinical Translational Research, Indonesian Immortalized Cell Lines, Organ-on-a-Chip technology, and AI-inspired stem cell technology and nanoengineering. Together, these pillars support the development of robust cellular resources, physiologically relevant disease models, and innovative translational platforms addressing unmet clinical needs.
By integrating in vitro stem cell–based models, advanced histological and molecular analyses, bioengineering approaches, and preclinical evaluation, STELLAR aims to bridge fundamental scientific discovery with translational and clinically relevant applications. Through this coordinated research ecosystem, STELLAR strengthens Indonesia’s capacity in advanced biomedicine and regenerative research while fostering global competitiveness.
