is a member of the School of Environmental Sciences, University of Indonesia. He holds a master's degree in Linguistics from Universitas Gadjah Mada. His primary research interests include the development and application of Critical Discourse Analysis, Media Analysis, Ecolinguistics, and Sociolinguistics as frameworks for understanding the complex relationships between language, society, and the environment. Furthermore, he has a strong concern in regional research, particularly in the context of Indonesia and the Arab world, which he uses to examine the dynamics of language in various social, cultural, and environmental situations.
To specify, his current research focuses on the relationship between language and the environment, especially in disaster management, environmental communication, and natural resource utilization practices. In the future, he plans to pursue a doctoral degree which targets strengthening interdisciplinary studies between linguistics and the environment. By this way, he expects to contribute to the knowledge and policy development that are more sensitive to environmental sustainability and justice.
