Our Mission

Elevating Research Through Minimalist Design

Key Activities

To advance our mission and create meaningful impact, the Political Economy of Health and Tobacco Control Research Group carries out strategic activities that connect research, policy, and practice. Our goal is to produce knowledge that informs decisions and strengthens health systems, especially in low- and middle-income countries.

Research

We conduct interdisciplinary research to generate policy-relevant evidence addressing health system challenges, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Our work combines political economy perspectives with strong methodologies to inform policy design.

Policy Engagement

We engage with policymakers and institutions to ensure research findings influence real-world decisions. Through policy briefs and consultations, we support evidence-based, equitable health policies.

Strategic Collaboration

We build long-term partnerships with academic, government, and civil society organizations to enhance policy influence and promote shared goals in health equity and tobacco control.
