MORGAN-PED (Multi-Organ Pediatric Research Group) is a collaborative research initiative focused on pediatric emergencies and critical illness, with particular emphasis on multi-organ dysfunction as a major driver of morbidity and mortality in children.
Operating within academic and clinical settings, MORGAN-PED advances research in Pediatric Emergency Care and Pediatric Critical Care through structured, multidisciplinary, and evidence-based approaches. The group aims to improve prevention, early detection, clinical management, and long-term outcomes while translating research into clinical practice, strengthening health systems, and contributing to policy and standards of pediatric care in Indonesia.
MORGAN-PED advances collaborative research focused on:
Understanding the mechanisms, progression, and outcomes of multi-organ dysfunction in critically ill and emergency pediatric populations
Developing strategies for prevention, early recognition, and evidence-based management of pediatric multi-organ dysfunction
Improving outcomes in pediatric critical illness, including both short-term recovery and long-term health trajectories
Advancing innovation and clinical excellence in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Critical Care
Strengthening health systems, enhancing facility readiness, and building sustainable clinical and research capacity
Translating scientific discoveries into clinical practice, policy development, and real-world implementation
