Developing holistic and patient-centered mental health care through collaborative research to improve quality of life across Indonesia.
Advancing psychiatric nursing through evidence-based innovation.
Building on the foundations of the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Indonesia to address the growing challenges of stress, depression, and mental health disorders in society, we aim to become a strategic hub for strengthening research networks and integrating evidence-based findings into national mental health policy and practice.

We specialize in mapping the social, economic, and environmental factors that drive mental health outcomes in Indonesia . By analyzing data on groups at risk—including those impacted by climate change and natural disasters—we provide the evidence-based foundation necessary for national policy and targeted clinical interventions

We focus on the frontier of psychiatric care: the development of digital health solutions, including mobile applications and telehealth platforms, to increase service accessibility. Simultaneously, we optimize mental health management systems to ensure efficient referral pathways and seamless integration between hospital and community care

Our mission is to foster resilience through community-based promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation strategies. We develop specialized, culturally sensitive nursing protocols for the most vulnerable among us, including children, adolescents, the elderly, and survivors of traumatic events
The Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing (MHPN) Research Cluster at Universitas Indonesia is dedicated to developing innovative, holistic, and patient-centered interventions.
Our research bridges the gap between scientific discovery and clinical nursing practice to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities across Indonesia.
