UI’s research and innovation productivity is enhanced through programs run by the Directorate of Research Funding and Ecosystem (DPER) and the Directorate of Innovation and High-Impact Research (DIRBT). Meanwhile, community service activities are developed and coordinated by the Directorate of Community Service and Social Innovation (DPIS), which adopts a penta-helix approach involving five key elements: academia, government, industry, civil society organizations (NGOs), and the general public, to ensure that activities are relevant and provide tangible impact for all stakeholders in Indonesia.
