Biography

Rizky Banyualam Permana has been a lecturer in the International Law Department at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, since 2020. Rizky earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in international trade and investment law from Maastricht University, Netherlands. Rizky’s research focuses on international trade law, international investment law, ASEAN, and the international legal aspects of digital technology. Since the beginning of his career as a lecturer, Rizky has been actively involved in various research activities. He joined as a researcher at Djokosoetono Research Center (2016 – 2018), the Institute for International Law Studies FHUI (2017 – present), and the Legal Center for International Trade and Investment FHUI (2019 – present). As a junior lecturer and researcher, Rizky has engaged in activities with government agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry, and private companies on issues of international investment and trade.
