This Research Group focuses on the discovery, development of technology and management of raw water, wastewater treatment as well as monitoring and modeling of water quality for a sustainable environment. Research activities were carried out using a multidisciplinary approach that integrates conventional engineering techniques to IoT-based modeling.
The objects studied are based on factual phenomena in the field related to the problem of water scarcity in quantity, quality, continuity and accessibility.
Laboratory testing and modeling are carried out to ensure that the quality, safety, and effectiveness resulting from research meet quality standards and can be accounted, scientifically.
