Prof. Muhammad Luthfi, Lc., M.A., Ph.D. is a Professor of Literature at the Arabic Studies Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia. He has served as Vice Rector for Human Resources and Assets at UI, Director of the School of Strategic and Global Studies (SKSG), and Head of the Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Program at the Postgraduate School of Universitas Indonesia. He currently heads the Universitas Indonesia Halal Center, where he actively conducts research on the halal industry, and has been appointed by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs as a member of the Halal Product Fatwa Committee.
