Biography

Prof. Dr.rer.physiol. dr. Septelia Inawati Wanandi is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, specializing in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her groundbreaking research primarily targets Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs), therapeutic resistance, and molecular immunology—seeking ways to eradicate aggressive tumors at their root and map molecular pathways that sustain them. She holds multiple innovative medical patents regarding human peripheral blood cell aging and myocardial protection mechanisms.
