Biography

Prof. Dr. Teguh Kurniawan, M.Sc, the Chairperson of the research cluster and a Professor in Public Governance, is a distinguished academic and researcher with an extensive international educational background, holding a Doctor in Administrative Science from Universitas Indonesia, a Master of Science in Urban Environmental Management from Wageningen University and IHS, and a Bachelor in Public Administration from Universitas Indonesia. Specializing in regional development, public policy, and the complexities of corruption, Prof. Dr. Teguh Kurniawan, M.Sc spearheads influential research on the structural and behavioral factors of governance, including high-impact studies on local government corruption and the role of discretion in corruptive practices. His scholarly contributions ranging from assessing national complaint-handling systems to evaluating regulatory impact and environmental conservation programs are instrumental in shaping integrity and efficiency within public administration, positioning him as a leading authority in fostering transparent and accountable governance in Indonesia.
