This research group focuses on the discovery, development, and quality assurance of herbal-based raw materials and products, including herbal medicines, nutraceuticals, and modern pharmaceuticals. Research activities are conducted using a multidisciplinary approach that integrates conventional screening techniques with computer-aided technologies. The studied materials are derived from terrestrial and marine organisms, available in the form of cultures, extracts, fractions, isolates, and their modified derivatives. Each product candidate undergoes comprehensive efficacy and safety evaluations, encompassing in vitro, in vivo, and standardized clinical studies, to ensure scientifically validated quality, safety, and effectiveness.
