Short Bio

Professor of Gender and Human Rights in International Relations at Universitas Indonesia. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Universitas Indonesia, pursued her postgraduate studies at the University of Washington, and completed her doctoral degree in International Relations at Universitas Padjadjaran. Her academic and research interests include gender politics, human rights, transnationalism, and the dynamics of democracy and civil society in Indonesia. She is also actively involved in various academic forums and policy research projects, including grants from The Asia Foundation.

Nurul Isnaeni, Ph.D.

An Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Universitas Indonesia. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Universitas Indonesia, pursued his postgraduate studies at Monash University, and completed his doctoral degree at Universiti Malaya. His research focuses on global environmental governance, sustainable development, and environmental justice. He actively studies the relationships between state and non-state actors in environmental governance and contributes to various policy research initiatives and academic activities, including collaborations with the Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia and the SDGs Hub UI.

Gracia Paramitha, Ph.D.

A Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Universitas Indonesia. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Universitas Airlangga and completed her postgraduate and doctoral studies at University of York. Her areas of expertise include climate change governance, sustainability, sustainable development, and environmental studies from an International Relations perspective. Since November 2024, she has served as Founder and Chairwoman of Paramitha Sustainability Initiative (PASTI), and she is certified as a Certified Sustainability Report Specialist by NCCR and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Emir Chairullah, Ph.D.

A Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at Universitas Indonesia. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, pursued her postgraduate studies at University of Auckland, and completed her doctoral degree at University of Queensland. Her areas of expertise include peace and conflict resolution, global media and democracy, and human rights. She actively conducts research in collaboration with various institutions, both academic and governmental. Prior to becoming a lecturer, she worked in journalism as a journalist, reviewer, and editor.
