Her research and publication themes mainly focus on essential problems on maternal and child health issues related to obstetrics, such as risk factors for maternal mortality, congenital heart diseases in infants, antenatal and postnatal care, and the kangaroo technique application. She also has experience in developing models for preeclampsia intervention. 

 

 

 

 

 

Prof. Dr. dr. Sudarto Ronoatmodjo, S.K.M., M.Sc.

His research is very diverse, covering many themes in the life cycle such as maternal and child health, for example determinants of anaemia in pregnancy, stress and mental disorders in pregnancy, risk factors for section caesarean, postpartum haemorrhage, neonatal care, basic immunization and stunting, breastfeeding behaviour, hormonal contraceptives and obesity, retinopathy of prematurity, menarche in adolescents, food security, studies of risky behaviours such as husbands who smoke and the association with low birth weight babies, Male Sex Male (MSM), HIV and Multi Drug Resistance in Tuberculosis. In addition, he also has research experience on the elderly’s quality of life.

Her research and publications are mainly related to thematic specialties of clinical nutrition such as Minangkabau women’s consumption patterns and dyslipidaemia, nutrition and autophagy failure in preeclampsia, vitamin D and micronutrient supplementation, stunting, malnutrition, immune system (regulatory T cell) in pregnancy, massage therapy in children to prevent the risk of autism spectrum disorders, knee pain reduction by providing protein to elderly people with osteoarthritis, and the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference with tumour necrosis. She also dedicates herself to extending research related to cancer, diabetes, and obesity.

She devoted her attention to issues related to maternal mortality, such as seeking care behaviour and health insurance, as well as reporting methods for maternal deaths in both the community and hospitals. She also has research experience related to obstetric complications and neonatal care. In addition to these topics, her extensive experience also relates to various studies on lung cancer.
