About EPIC

EPIC is a research cluster within the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia. This group is dedicated to advancing both fundamental and applied research in electrochemistry, photoelectrochemistry, spectroscopy, and chemometrics, as well as in the development of functional materials that contribute to scientific and technological advancement.

Mission

The establishment of the EPIC Research Group aims to:

  1. Address critical challenges in energy conversion and storage, healthcare diagnostics, and environmental sustainability through multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research approaches.
  2. Translate scientific discoveries into practical solutions that deliver meaningful and sustainable impacts for society and the environment.
  3. Enhance the quality and quantity of research collaborations at both national and international levels to support the achievement of the university’s Key Performance Indicators and strengthen its global ranking position.
  4. Facilitate the development of a center of excellence rooted in faculty expertise and collaborative research outcomes.
  5. Promote knowledge dissemination through publications, patents, and technology implementation, while strengthening human resource capacity through student supervision and research training initiatives.
