The Challanges

Rapid urbanization and global economic pressures have led to severe “ecological crises,” including environmental degradation, resource conflicts, and unequal access to vital resources. Established in 2025 at the Department of Geography, FMIPA UI, the Cluster for Political Ecology Research (CePER) provides a unique geoscience-informed framework.
