Prof. drg. Endang Winiati, M.Biomed., Ph.D., PBOChief of Research Group/Laboratory Professor Endang Winiati Bachtiar has over 24 years of experience in oral and molecular biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, tissue engineering, and immunology related to oro-craniofacial hard and soft tissue diseases. She has authored 120+ peer-reviewed publications, holds 10 granted patents, and has received 50+ competitive research grants, including from TWAS–UNESCO. In 2024, she collaborated with PT Kimia Farma under a grant from the Directorate of Science Technopark Universitas Indonesia to develop and test stem-cell-derived secretome hydrogel. Her research interests focus on bioengineering and regenerative medicine, DNA/RNA vaccine development for oral diseases, stem-cell metabolites for tissue engineering, and the molecular immunopathogenesis of oral diseases. Prof. drg. Ariadna Adisattya Djais, M.Biomed., Ph.D., PBOResearch Group/Laboratory Member Prof. Djais is a lecturer and researcher in oral microbiology, specializing in Streptococcus mutans, microbial interactions, dental biofilm ecology, and caries prevention. He obtained his Doctoral degree (PhD) in [Field] from [University Name], [Country]. He has led community-based oral health programs in West Java focused on preventing the progression of dental caries among preschool (PAUD) children until 2023. He has also served as Chair of the Indonesian Association of Oral Biology (Perhimpunan Biologi Oral Indonesia). drg. Nurtami Soedarsono, PhD, Sp.OF(K)Research Group/Laboratory Member drg. Nurtami is a researcher and practitioner in forensic odontology, with expertise in dental identification and the application of odontogram data for Disaster Victim Identification (DVI). She obtained her Doctoral degree (PhD) in [Field] from [University Name], [Country]. Her research interests include dental medical records, digital data management, and the development of ante- and post-mortem databases to support forensic investigations and mass disaster preparedness. She has led community service programs focused on the digitalization of dental medical records for high-risk populations, including Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. In addition, she is actively involved in community empowerment programs promoting Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to public oral health resilience and disaster preparedness. drg. Citra Fragrantia Theodorea, M.Si., Ph.DResearch Group/Laboratory Member drg. Citra Fragrantia Theodorea is a researcher in oral microbiome, microbiology, and molecular biology, with a focus on biomarker discovery for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). She obtained her Doctoral degree (PhD) from Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, Japan, in 2018. Her research interests include oral microbiome profiling in pre-diabetes and diabetes, with particular emphasis on the genus Veillonella and its role in oral–systemic health. Her work also examines host inflammatory and immune mediators, exosomal microRNAs as biomarkers, and in silico molecular docking of bioactive compounds targeting oral pathogens. Ratna Ramadhani, SKG., M.Si., PhDResearch Group/Laboratory Member Ratna Ramadhani, PhD is a researcher in oral physiology, with experience in the research of the regulatory mechanism of blood flow in the orofacial area mediated by neural and humoral systems. Her research is currently focusing on the correlation of stress level and the concentration of several potential biomarkers as well as incidence of xerostomia and characteristic of saliva in dental students.
