To become a leading and globally competitive research group in Medicinal Chemistry and Bioinformatics, excelling in the advancement of medicinal chemistry through integrated experimental and computational approaches, and contributing through research, scientific publications, education, and community service that are responsive to health challenges at the local, national, and global levels.

1. To develop research in medicinal chemistry and bioinformatics oriented toward drug discovery, disease biomarker identification, and the understanding of molecular mechanisms of disease through experimental, omics, and computational approaches.
2. To organize and support research-based education in medicinal chemistry and bioinformatics that is aligned with advances in biomedical sciences, pharmacy, and modern medicine.
3. To enhance the quality and productivity of interdisciplinary research by engaging biomedical, clinical, and data science fields, including research involving students at various levels of education.
4. To produce scientific publications, innovations, and research outputs that contribute to the advancement of science, health technology, and the sustainable utilization of natural resources (including natural product-based drugs).
